Jon Rose A great Musician: 

John Rose was born in Britain in 1951, is an Australian violinist. The King's School in Rochester rose after winning a music scholarship began playing the violin at the age of 7. For over 35 years, rose new, improvised and experimental music and media has been at the sharp end.Central to this practice 'relative' Violin Project, a unique production, rich in content, realizing almost everything in common with the violin and string music is about. The fence project is celebrated around the world, and the least known relative of violins are manufactured exclusively in Australia.

She has appeared on over 60 albums, and the Kronos Quartet, Derek Bailey, Fred Frith, Shelley Hirsch, Chris Cutler, Otomo Yoshihide, KK Null, Alvin Curran, Evan Parker, Phil Minton, John Cage, has worked with artists such as Tony Oxley, Steve Beresford, Eugene Chadbourne, Bob OSTERTAG, Jim Denley, Elliott Sharp, George Lewis, Christian Marclay, Toshinori Kondo, Joelle Leandre , Francis Marie Uitti, Barre Phillips, and John Zorn.
